Default Missing ports on my installation summary

I have self installed my own BELL satellite dish (with no help from Bell) with 2 LNB’s and a SW44 switch running two lines to my receiver. It appears as if I have only been able to connect to Satellite 82 and cannot acquire a signal for 91. I get the installation summary details listed below after I run a check switch. The consequences of this are that I only get about half my channels (most of the HD ones thankfully) and am obviously not able to record + watch a different program on my HD PVR. Could it be possible that I am 3 degrees too high and have the LNB which is meant for 91 actually aiming at 82? And as a result have the 82 LNB aiming at empty sky?

Installation summary details

----- Satellite Input 1 -----
Missing: Port 1a Odd
Missing: Port 1b Even

----- Satellite Input 2 -------
Status: Connected to a None, 1 ports
Port1 None Good Connection, No signal

Thanks,
Michael

gee... and you figured that out all by yourself.....

could be true.... you can put your hand over the 82 or 91 element & see if you lose the right signal....

quite offten this happens ... is your el is off... then you get the wrong bird & none on the other ... since you sorta figured this out .... you might have already fixed it ....

Thank you for the easy test! I have confirmed that indeed I had the LNB for 91 actually aimed at 82. I still cannot however get a signal when I adjust my el. I am assuming it now has something to do with my RG6 line running from the switch to my reciever. I didn't quite have enough line and have used a threaded connector to add an additional 6' of RG6. Do you think this could be my issue?

it could be ... you have to cunduct on both conductors for sat..... sometimes the screw on type connectors do not conduct on the shield...

Hmmm, never thought of that. Might be a good career move for me. The striped jumper, flat cap, and mask never suited me anyway. Horizontal stripes! Not wise for the fuller figure.
