icon5 DVR reboot / re-acquire

I have 2 different DVRs in my home. This problem happens on both. Every now and then (3 to 7 days a week) when I am using the forward or back DVR function, the receiver suddenly goes to a snowy screen and then goes into the signal acquisition mode. This happens when I am actively recording a show or just scanning back and forth. One receiver has been replaced because I dropped it, but the problem happens on the replacement also. Dishnetwork wants me to pay for a service call. Thanks for any info on this.

This is a software issue. DNS is working on the problem.
Is it still happening?
